Thermo Fisher Scientific announces that it has signed a supply agreement with the group purchasing organization Amerinet to supply its Remel brand manual microbiology products and services through March 2012.
This agreement will allow Amerinet to continue to promote quality healthcare delivery and help member providers to more effectively manage expenses.

The Remel products portfolio offers an extensive line of microbiology products with leading brand names and superior performance.
The combined performance and workflow efficiencies deliver a total value for Amerinet customers, providing testing and identification solutions for the microbiology lab, infection control and patient length-of-stay solutions for hospitals, ensuring quality of care for patients. Manual microbiology products in the agreement include Spectra™ MRSA chromogenic media, collection and transport, plated and tubed media, environmental systems, agglutination tests, stains and reagents.
