These two IgM Antibody Capture Enzyme Immunoassay Test Kits, one for Toxoplasma and one for Cytomeglovirus, were recently FDA cleared.
The tests qualitatively determine IgM antibodies to toxoplasma or cytomeglovirus antigens in human sera using ELISA antibody-capture. Each kit features color-coded, ready-to-use reagents, a plate with 96-well breakaway strips and 12-month shelf life. No sample pretreatment is required. Results take less than 2.5 hours. The kits avoid interference due to rheumatoid factor and competing IgG antibodies. Both tests run on the Mago Plus Automated EIA Analyzer with a dedicated assay menu and 20 open channels. It tests 120 samples and nine simultaneous assays for up to 384 patients.
