Greiner Bio-One will be giving away a number of prizes at its booth during next week’s AACC conference. Visitors will have a chance to draw from a fishbowl of blood collection tube caps for a chance to win the grand prize, a Microsoft Surface tablet. Other giveaways include gum, Life Savers, cookies, pens, bracelets, baseball caps, and VIP dinner tickets on Lake Michigan.
The company will also be promoting the latest version of its Vacuette Quickshield safety tube holder, which allows the safety shield to rotate around the needle 360 degrees. The updated design allows both right- and left-handed users to handle the device without adjusting their collection technique.
