Rack Reader Traces 2D-Coded Tubes
Synchronized reader and software

Micronic Rack Reader DR500 and Code Reader Software_1Optimized for rapid and accurate sample identification, the new Micronic DR500 rack reader comes complete with in-house designed Micronic code reader software. The DR500 can scan and decode a whole rack of 2D datamatrix codes in less than 5 seconds, and a single 96-well plate in less than 2 seconds. Its small benchtop footprint makes the DR500 an efficient, space-saving option for organizing laboratory sample inventory. The reader is compatible with most brands of 2D datamatrix coded tubes, whether they are in a 24-, 48- or 96-well format. The DR500 can be powered via external power supply or by USB, enabling users to decode a rack of tubes using only a laptop. The DR505 option features an anti-frost system, which minimizes condensation of frozen samples on the scanner plate. Additionally, the software’s CSV-file output enables users to smoothly integrate the software with their laboratory information management system.

Cell Strainers
Individually wrapped

Sarstedt Cell strainer

Cell strainers by Sarstedt consist of a polypropylene frame and a nylon mesh with a filtration area of 4.2 sq cm. The strainers are available with pore sizes of 40 µm, 70 µm, or 100 µm. For easy identification, the cell strainer frames are color-coded blue, white, or yellow, based on the corresponding mesh pore size. The frames also have ventilation cams around their edges to prevent blockage and overflows resulting from poor air exchange. The strainers are stackable, allowing for multiple filtration steps to be performed at one time. The strainers are suitable for use as-is with standard 50 mL conical tubes; an adapter is available to customize the strainers for use with 5 mL, 15 mL, and FACS tubes. The strainers are sold individually wrapped to meet project needs.
