LDL and HDL Direct are available in prefilled cartridges for use on Synchron CX and LX chemistry analyzers.
Each 200-test kit contains two 100-test cartridges containing liquid reagents that require no preparation. Being direct methods, neither assay requires sample pre-treatment and both are run from the same sample cup as cholesterol, triglycerides and other routine chemistries.
The LDL Direct cartridge reagent is stable on board the instrument for 30 days and the tests remain calibrated for 14 days. A calibrator is included in the LDL kit.
HDL Direct also comes in a 400-test kit containing two 200-test cartridges, which are barcoded. These cartridges are stable on board for 60 days and require calibration every 14 days. HDL and LDL compliment this company’s existing line of barcoded cartridge general chemistries, CX3 stat chemistries, controls, and other supplies for use on Synchron CX and LX Systems.
