photo The Spot RT Monochrome with the Kodak KAI-2000 CCD is a research grade CCD that produces resolution of 1600 x 1200, almost two mega pixels of non-interpolated data.
Designed specifically for microscopy, this camera provides a 19-fps live image window for focusing and scanning as well as 12-bit, high accuracy image captures.
Cooling to –37ºC ensures low noise operation for fluorescence and darkfield work. A broad band coated UBK7 window is standard. Fused silica or infrared blocking windows for imaging live specimens are optional.
Also standard is the Spot dedicated software which isolates the area of interest in the live image window and chooses the Snap button. The software works on Mac and PC platforms.
