The browser-based Quanta Link 5.0 system centralizes autoimmune testing data across instruments and connects with laboratory information systems.
Werfen has announced the global launch of Quanta Link 5.0, an updated data management platform designed to centralize and simplify autoimmune testing workflows in clinical laboratories.
The platform transitions to an HTML-based interface, allowing laboratory professionals to access the system through a standard web browser without requiring local software installations. This setup provides greater flexibility in how and where staff interact with the platform while supporting evolving clinical demands for digitalization, IT alignment, and cybersecurity readiness.
To support high-volume laboratories managing testing complexity, Quanta Link 5.0 introduces standardized workflows and increased automation to reduce manual handling steps. The update also preserves validated workflows to ensure operational continuity, instrument integration, and laboratory information system connectivity for current users.

Centralized Multi-Instrument Integration
The platform functions as a central hub for autoimmune diagnostics, integrating results across diverse systems—including Aptiva, Bio–Flash, Quanta-Lyser 3000, Nova View, and manual microscopy—into a single interface. Centralizing these data streams is intended to streamline result processing, enhance specimen and test traceability, and support consistent data interpretation across laboratory operations.
The system also includes flexible configuration options that enable facilities to adapt operational parameters to their specific workflow needs. Quanta Link 5.0 is available immediately to Werfen customers worldwide.
