To meet the rapid evolution from 96-well to 384-well formats, this company has introduced seven high density polypropylene 384-Well Plates in six colors to address applications such as synthesis and storage for combination chemistry and HTS assays.
The plates have the same 86 x 128mm footprint as 96-well plates, with 4.5mm center-to-center well spacing, but feature four times the number of wells. Increased well density reduces reagent and sample volumes, resulting in lower cost per well. It also saves space in stackers, freezers and incubators. These plates are compatible with robotic and automated equipment such as liquid dispensers and washers.
Minimal binding properties make the plates suitable for liquid phase assays, sample preparation and storage and chemical synthesis. Black and white plates are optimized for fluorescence and luminescence assays. Plates are available in red, blue, yellow and natural. Total well volume is 120µL.
