ThermoSafe Brands, Arlington Heights, Ill, has introduced four new ThermoSafe Medical Transporter totes, which expands their existing line of regulatory assurance products. Model 930 is a durable unit offering a simple solution to store and transport blood, sensitive specimens, medications, and organs. The new unit is insulated with stain- and impact-resistant expanded polypropylene, offering a lightweight alternative to traditional devices. The ergonomic design includes wheels and an adjustable handle for easy mobility, plus disposable plastic liners to simplify cleanup, providing an efficient and convenient choice. Model 930 is qualified by ISC Labs for the temporary storage and transport of packed red blood cells using Polar Pack refrigerants. The unit’s interior basket holds up to eight packed red blood cell units and maintains 1° to 6°C while in storage for 6 hours or more, and 1° to 10°C for up to 24 hours.

The Massandmeasurement/ OHAUS HH320 Hand-Held Scale operates on two AAA alkaline batteries, has a sealed keypad with buttons for weighing units, zero, and backlighting the large LCD display. Featuring a 320-g capacity with 0.1-g readability and ±0.2-g linearity, it automatically calibrates from the keypad and shuts off after 5 minutes of inactivity. Made from rugged plastic and supplied with a protective snap-on cover for storage and transport, the scale has RF protection for use near cell phones, cash registers, and computers.
