EZ-Range is a hematology range verification system designed to validate a hematology analyzer’s reportable range using whole blood samples instead of separate blood cell components.
Since the constituents are combined and tested exactly as if they are a patient sample, this product provides realistic linearity verification without the repetitive testing of individual parameters. The procedure requires 18 cycles of testing: three levels of analysis and six runs per level. Constituents remain stable for five days after opening, which allows testing of multiple analyzers and backup equipment.
The system is available in two versions, the EZ-Range 1 and the EZ-Range 2.
