This fifth-generation vacuum infiltration processor features external reagent drain and fill, automatic reagent rotation during processing and four mixing options, including continuous mixing. The Tissue-Tek VIP automatically cleans paraffin without the need for additional retort cleaning cycles.
Twenty processing programs enable preparation of all tissue types. Users can create their own reagent and program names, and adding cassettes is easy, even if a run has been scheduled or started. Other features include automatic reagent transfer during the processing run, self-calculating delay mode, cassette and reagent usage counter and an adjustable alarm tone and volume.
Safety and security features include a Solution Manager program that reacts to bring processing to completion under faulty conditions, a programmable water rinse, environmentally secure filtration, computer safeguards and two levels of password protection.
