The DP12 digital microscope camera is a 3.34 Megapixel camera utilizing a 1/1.8” CCED allowing image acquisition with 2048 x 1536 pixels of resolution. It is ergonomic, compact and engineered for use either as a stand-alone camera, or to be interfaced to a PC.
     The high resolution 3.5” tilting 200,000 pixel color LCD monitor is integrated into the separate, compact control unit to allow for easier focusing and framing, allowing simultaneous display of 16 images.
     The handset control unit is outfitted with a USB port for high-speed image transfer to a PC and direct video output (NTSC) for viewing images on a video monitor.
     The camera is operated from a handset control unit and transfers images to the PC using high-speed USB technology. Direct video output (NTSC) allows viewing of images on a video monitor. Integrating the DP12 with the P-330 or P-400 printer produces printed images with detail that rivals film.
     Image adjusment may be made with 3 white balance selections. A new focusing indicator and 2x electronic zoom allow easy focusing, and a calibrated scale bar can be superimposed horizontally or vertically on the displayed image.
     Live image display is at a maximum of 30 frames/second, and stored image display is at a maximum of 30 frames/second with image magnifications of 1/16X, 1/9X, 1/4X, 1X, 2X, and 4X.
