Aspen is a turnkey and programmable LIMS, designed for use “right out of the box,” while remaining flexible enough to meet future needs without hiring programmers.
Aspen works with Excel, Perform Pro, Crystal Reports or other programs to generate custom reports. Although it ships with an Access 8.0 database , the lab is free to use the SQL back-end database of its choice. Customers can use Access 8.0, Oracle 7 and 8, NIS SQL Server, DB2 and Sybase. Labs can add fields, modify screens and add calculations.
