This next-generation Synchron CX chemistry system includes three models: the CX9 Pro, CX5 Pro and CX4 Pro.
The CX Pro series features automated checking of serum indices (hemolysis, icterus and lipemia); automatic clot detection and correction; and onboard autodilution.
Systems are equipped with remote diagnostic capabilities that allow a service representative modem access to event logs and QC data.
The CX9 Pro menu includes general and esoteric chemistries, TDMs, DATs, proteins and serologies. With 33 onboard chemistries and throughput of up to 900 tests per hour, it can anzlyze up to nine critical care chemistries and deliver results in less than 60 seconds.
The CX5 Pro offers 29 onboard chemistries and throughput up to 600 tests per hour. It analyzes up to five critical care chemistries in less than 60 seconds.
For specialty testing, the CX4 Pro consolidates DATs, TDMs, esoterics, proteins and tests such as thyroid, HbA1c and lipids. It offers 24 onboard chemistries and throughput up to 225 tests per hour.
Each system includes an autoloader; a STAT interrupt feature; centrifugable sample sectors; a flat-panel monitor; and continuous random access processing for samples, controls, calibrators and reagents.
